Dra. Ana Laura Lores

Ana Laura Lores is a member of the Corporate and Public Law team. Her work is focused on regulatory and contract advisory practice.

Her main responsibilities include providing advice and in-house support to Kyndryl Uruguay S.A, assisting the company as regards different legal matters related to the provision of technology services.

Experience

Ana Laura has experience in corporate, government contract and labor advisory practice.

She has been involved and has specialized in the review of solicitation documents, Government and private, elaboration, negotiation and enforcement of contracts with clients and suppliers. In addition, she renders assistance as regards regulatory issues related to Kyndryl Uruguay’s operation and activity, which includes personal data protection and different registrations with Government agencies, among others.

Furthermore, she provides assistance and support to the company at a regional level as regards labor and business issues.

Education

• She is currently taking a Postgraduate Course in Economic Administrative Law, Universidad de Montevideo.
• Attorney at Law, School of Law, Universidad Católica del Uruguay.
• She has taken several courses, among which the following are noteworthy: “Law in Digital Society: challenges of Artificial Intelligence, use of Algorithms and Digital Markets,” Universidad de Málaga, Spain; “International Arbitration” and “Cooperatives: corporate system and law” given by the Universidad Católica del Uruguay.
• She has participated in written works and as a speaker in Conferences on Constitutional Law and Human Rights held in Uruguay and abroad.

Publications

She has been involved in the investigation and is the coauthor of “Jurisprudencia sobre responsabilidad del Estado (Avance de investigación).”

She is the author of “Cambios en el régimen de transferencia internacional de datos y su impacto en las empresas,” published in CADE, 2021.
